  • Nominated for the 2005 NAIDOC Artist of the Year Award
  • Entrant to the 2006 Telstra Art Awards - Darwin
  • Won an ATSI Australian Arts Council 2006 Grant - 2 week Artist in Residence in Melbourne
  • Nominated for the 2007 Australia Day Cultural Award
  • Winner of the Burdekin Australia Day Celebrations -Senior Cultural Award- 2008
  • Winner of the 2009/10 Telstra Yellow Pages Cover image - Townsville region

Artist Achievements:

2004- Opened the Zaro Cultural Gallery , to create and sell his Cultural Artworks

2005-  Italy Exhibiton-First International Art display in Vencezia , Aicey did not attend but his handpainted Silks where displayed and love by locals.

2007- Sydney - commisioned to paint a large mural for St Andrews College Indigenous Schooling Unit .Aicey also attended openning ceramony  with Guest speaker George Negus ( 60 Minutes)

2007- Aicey attended the Australian Indigenous Tourism Conference in Broome WA, meeting  Mary G , Pigrim Brothers and many other indigenous business people. 

2008- Aicey and Bernice were fast becoming  well know local Indigenous artist and business persons , offering cultural workshops and talks for shools and community groups.

2009 - Hawaii , Aicey and Bernice travelled to Honolulu USA, to take part in an exhibition with fellow artist Anna Mango . A wonderful cultural exchange and artistic experience.

2010 - Cairns Indigenous Art Fair - Tanks Arts centre - Aicey and other artist from Umbrella Studio in Townsville produced Lino Cut works that where sold to the National Gallery of Australia and works will be travelling QLD during 2011.

2010- 7th Annual Print Symposium , National Gallery of Australia Canberra - Aicey attended and meet world class print makers and artists .

2011- ( March 20- 11 April)  Japan Artists in Residence at the Kobe Sea Life Aquarium.
