Zaro Cultural Gallery

"Maiem Maiem" Welcome!

The Zaro Cultural Gallery offers an extensive range of Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal art. Owing to its Burdekin residents, Aicey and Bernice Zaro, the privately owned gallery also boasts of souvenirs and gift items such as silk paintings, hand painted ceramics, hand carvings, and other arts and crafts as a memento for any visiting tourist and or local alike.
Opened since late November 2004, it is located by the Bruce Highway through the little town of Home Hill, Tropical North Queensland, Australia. Visitors have the privilege to stop by, admire the artwork, and talk over tea in the visitor's lounge. "Artworks have been sold as far out to Italy, Sweden, England, Japan, Spain, as well as the Torres Strait and Australia." Zaro's artwork is truly appreciated by many people of various cultural backgrounds.

If you see anything you like on the site, please drop us an email from the contact page , or if you would like to Commission Aicey to do some Artworks, we will get back to you ASAP.
